The photo below is of me, dog-walker Olga, and handsome Charlie. Charlie lived a long and happy life, making it all the way to 15 – that’s around 80 years old in dog years! I am deeply saddened to have lost one of the wonderful dogs that I walk, my beloved Peanut, pictured above. She was a feisty Chihuahua and despite being 85% blind, she didn’t let that stop her! At 16 years old she loved her walks right up until the very end. Peanut was small in size but big in spirit. She’s in a happy place now, in puppy heaven with her sweet brother Gordy. Love & miss you, Peanut. XOXO

Meet Smiley, the blind therapy dog who was rescued from a puppy mill and trained to be a St. John Ambulance therapy dog for seniors and children with disabilities. Smiley was born without eyes and has dwarfism, making him smaller than most dogs of his breed, but that hasn’t stopped him from spreading hope and smiles everywhere he goes! Wildlife Control Specialist, Piper, is dressed for duty at Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City, Mi. The seven year old Border Collie chases away birds and wildlife as planes take off and land, and has amassed a loyal following on his Airport K9 Instagram account.

Munchkin the Shih Tzu isn’t your average dog.

Actually, she’s almost more bear than she is dog!

Her owner Cindy Roth did the greatest thing anyone could’ve ever done… she dressed her pup up like a teddy bear!

Munchkin is so impossibly cute as a teddy bear it almost hurts to look at her.
